Show Aureole Club hears program on dolls Aureole Club members spent an interesting evening at the home of Mrs. Laura Alleman Wednesday of last week. She was assisted by Mrs. Lucille Johnson. Mrs. Alleman exhibited her rare collection of dolls, each one of which is dressed in attire at-tire typical of a certain period. There were old and new dolls and also a doll house and as Mrs. Alleman showed them she gave special comment from books and other sources resulting result-ing in a most interesting program. pro-gram. She was assisted by her daughter, Mrs. Bernell Hatchings Hatch-ings and her little granddaughter, granddaugh-ter, Loralee Hutchings, appeared ap-peared in one of her grandmother's grandmo-ther's childhood dresses to climax cli-max the program. President Nita Giles presided presid-ed during the meeting which closed with refreshments. The next meeting is October 18, at the home of Barbara Clark, who will be assisted by Jean Wightman. Gary Peirce will give the program on Bolivia. |
