The theatre, formerly known as the Ilivoli, will also be cleaned and redecorated inside. Remodeling of theatre wM also Include name change to 'Villa with sound absorbing side paneling. pan-eling. Mr. Lind is also the manager of the Art City Drive-in. Villa has been selected as the new name for the Rivoli Theatre Thea-tre which is in the process of being remodeled and is scheduled sched-uled to open sometime after the middle of October, according accord-ing to Carl Lind, manager. The theatre, which has been closed for over five years, is presently being painted throughout, the lobby has been expanded into the north end of the building and the seats are being refurbished. New carpeting is being planned in the lobby and the whole front entrance has been changed with new doors and ticket booth. The projection equipment has been completely updated and the sound will be equal to the best in the state. Mr. Lind pointed out that the name Villa was taken from ville, the last five letters in Springville, just changing the 'e' to an 'a'. He also stated that all of the seating has been taken out and will be rearranged to allow al-low a better view of the screen. He also noted that the auditorium audi-torium is of excellent quality |
