Show Open letter Citizen points to danger of road to school To whom it may concern: Due to the increased traffic of construction workers and equipment traveling back and forth all hours of the day on Weight Ave., and the narrow one lane condition and blind corner that exists from Fourth South to the city limit of the lane, and in view of the fact that the city and Nebo School District have been reminded of the dangerous condition, it is my opinion that the city and school district should be held responsible for any accident that may occur on Weight Ave. because of the dangerous and hazardous condition of the road. If the existing brush was removed re-moved and the piped spring creek was covered over, there would be ample room to pass safely and also to see approaching approach-ing traffic on the above mentioned men-tioned blind corner. This has been pointed out to Springville Spring-ville City and Nebo School District Dis-trict many times, but nothing seems to be done. There is a new access road that has been opened up on the East end of the school property. prop-erty. Why doesn't the school traffic use it? When construction construc-tion workers are nearly late for work and are hurrying to the school, you take your life in your hands to try to go down or out of Weight Ave. at 7:30 in the morning. If you don't believe me, I invite you to try it. Vaun K. Weight |
