Thorpe, has accepted a call to serve in the LDS Northwestern States Mission. His farewell is scheduled sched-uled for Sunday at 6:30 p.m., in the Tenth Ward Chapel. He enters the mission home June 20. Speakers at the farewell will be Max O. Thorn and George R. Bird. Remarks will be made by Bishop Waldo Jacobsen and by parents of the missionary and the missionary will respond. re-spond. There will be a selection by a ladies quartet composed of Kathleen Childs, Shirley Luce, Lucille Davies and Mary Schouten, accompanied by Mar-yn Mar-yn Johnson. The invocation will be by Jerry Warren and the benediction benedic-tion by Calvin Bird. Prelude and postlude music will be by Fred D. Childs. Other missionaries serving from the Tenth Ward, are: Glen Newberry, Great Lakes; Alan B. Taylor, Southwest Richard M. Thorpe, called to Northwest states, will be given giv-en farewell Sunday night. British; Alan W. Mecham, Central States; Robert Palfrey-man, Palfrey-man, Brazilian; Richard Hatch, Southwest British; Mr. and Mrs. Harmon Hatch, stake.
