Show Archery season for deer opens throughout slate on August 23 First of Utah's 1965 deer hunting seasons will get underway un-derway August 28, with the opening of the archery deer season. Archery permits are $5.00 for the resident and the nonresident. non-resident. Department of Fish and Game spokesmen noted that bow and arrow permits are still available on Units 20 (Kamas) and 23Bt (Curren Creek-Strawberry) . Tackle requirements remain the same this year as for last. Archers are reminded that it shall be unlawful to have a firearm in his possession while hunting deer with a bow and arrow. All hunters must carry their bow and arrow permit with them at all times while hunting hunt-ing and must tag their game at the place of kill and before being transported. |
