Police avert break in at Allen's Market Action by Dan Barton, a Springville police officer, was credited for foiling a break-in at Allen's Market here during the weekend, according to Police Po-lice Chief Ashley Graham. Chief Graham said Officer Dan Barton noticed a car had been parked too long near the Hi-Spot Drive-in at 400 So. Main, and stopped to check out the vehicle. There were two women and a man in the vehicle, ve-hicle, and shortly after being checked by the officer, they left. A short time later, officers found that someone had almost succeeded in punching his way through the brick wall on the south side of Allen's Market. Entry to the building apparently apparent-ly had not been successful. Chief Graham said the fourth member of the party in the suspicious car was probably responsible for the attempted burglary.
