Show Youths seeking summer work The following letter has been read in church meetings and public gatherings this week, in an effort to find work for young people in this area: "There are around 300 youth between the ages of 10 to 19 years who have registered with the Springville Youth Employ- ment IService in cooperation with the Springville Chamber of Commerce hoping for an opportunity to do summer work. "They are conscientious a nd sincere in their desire to work and will do yard work, house work (how about a lift with the cleaning or dishes occasionally?), occas-ionally?), baby tending, farm work, service station attendant, attend-ant, grocery store, typing or office work. Do you need help in typing your genealogy sheets? "Please, will you give these young people any and every opportunity to help you in any of these jobs even if it is just a few hours a week? "Phone the Chamber of Commerce, 489-4681, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. if you have any openings." (Signed) LuDean Litster, Chairman, Youth Employment Com. |
