Show Texas wedding unites daughter of former residents, N.Y. man Lovely Miss Jo Ann Doug-all, Doug-all, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. John Mac Dougall of Houston, Texas, former residents of Springville, is married to Gary Leland Levering, son of Mr. and Mrs. George B. Levering of Oceanside, N. Y. The bride is a granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Reynolds and Mr. and Mrs. John W. Dougall of Springville. The wedding ceremony took place August 29, at St. Luke's Methodist Church at Houston, with Dr. Kenneth Shamblin of- er, Los Angeles; James Rhodes, Charles Kipple, John Funk, Michael Trahan, Carl Gausnell all of Texas and James Evans of Mississippi, were groomsmen. Oliver Pennington Pen-nington was soloist and Robert Levering assisted the minister. For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Dougall wore a gown of willow green Alencon lace, styled with open neckline and brief sleeves, and Mrs. Levering Lever-ing chose French blue chiffon. Each wore matching accessor- Setting for the reception was the Briar Club, where a white lace draped table held a 3-tiered 3-tiered wedding cake, topped by a bisque cupid holding an arrangement ar-rangement of fresh white bridal brid-al flowers. Following the reception, the couple left on a wedding trip to Los Angeles, Calif., the bride wearing a biege silk suit with navy accessories. They plan to return Sept. 14, and will be at home at 3007 Red River, Austin, , Texas. The bride is a graduate of Duke University and a third year law student at the University Uni-versity of Texas Law School. Encrusted with bridal jewels, the lace effected the batteau neckline and fashioned fash-ioned the above-elbow sleeves of the molded bodice. The slender slen-der skirt featured lavish back fullness which swept into a circular train cathedral length. The bride's veil of silk illusion, il-lusion, edged with Chantilly lace was worn by her mother, the former Josephine Reynolds of Springville, on her wedding day. It was caught to a miniature min-iature crown of lace accented by delicate French orange blossoms blos-soms that originally held the veil. It draped softly over the shoulders into' folds of the gown to fall beyond the train's hemline. She held a bridal bouquet of orchids and stephanotis and carried a hand-embroidered silk handkerchief made by her grandmother, the late Mrs. John W. Dougall of Springville, for her own wedding. Bridesmaids and honor attendants at-tendants included Miss Janice Dougall, sister of the bride, as maid of honor; with Mrs. James E. Winn, Miss Diana Hornberger, Mrs. Harvin C. Moore, Sr., Mrs. Jim Sam Camp, Miss Connie Patton, Miss Garnett Brown, bridesmaids; brides-maids; and Mrs. James A. Knecht, Chicago; Miss Mary Ann McLellan, New Oreleans; Mrs. John Funk, Austin and Mrs. John B. Holstead, Amaril-lo, Amaril-lo, honor attendants. Gold and white brocade was chosen for their attire, styled with deep circlet necklines and elbow-length sleeves accented by miniature bows. Full wat-teau wat-teau panels of brocade cascaded cascad-ed over the backs of the slender slen-der skirts to form brief trains. Short white kid gloves and matching silk slippers completed complet-ed their costumes. Each attendant held a white Bible engraved with her name in gold from which was an arrangement ar-rangement of stephanotis and ivy. Gordon T.
