"In this past session of Congress Con-gress I have voted for an expanded ex-panded Federal program in vocational vo-cational education because I think we have fallen behind in equipping our people for the skills required by increasing automation of industry. "But I voted against an enormous program of Federal aid for mass transit systems because I believe the citizens and taxpayers of New York, Boston, San Francisco, Salt and school room, collection of highly necessary biological data and the multple other duties making up his daily itinerary. The department of fish and game currently employees fifty consecutive officers throughout through-out the state. Each is literally Mr. Fish and Game in his district, dis-trict, some of which amount to a whole county. As the duties of this office changed with the passing years, so was the old title of warden changed to conservation conserva-tion officer with the record now showing that todays C.O. averages one-third of his time in law enforcement work.
