Show Drawing deadline July 30th Each July, at least 35,000 hunters enter their name in a computer drawing for the chance to hunt a second deer, a 2,000 pound buffalo, or several other big game species. from 1 in 214 for the Rocky Mountain goat permit all the way to a "sure thing" for some anlterless deer control areas receiving fewer applications than the number of permits available. The deadline for entering en-tering the drawing this year is July 30. This year 18,687 restricted area permits are being offered to the public, including 16,585 for anterless deer, 1,525 for elk, 433 for antelope, 106 for moose, 27 for buffalo, 10 for desert bighorn sheep and 1 for Rocky Mountain goat. Application forms for the hunts are contained in the Big Game Proclamation available at any license agent or a Division of Wildlife Resources office. These must be received by mail or brought personally per-sonally to a Wildlife Resources office in Salt Lake, Ogden, Springville, Vernal, Cedar City or Price no later than 5 p.m. on July 30.
