Show Student center plans fun run for all ages CEDAR CITY -Runners of all ages are invited to participate Saturday in Southern Utah State College's ' Thunderbird Summer Fun Run. Sponsored by the SUSC Student Center, the run will begin at Milt's Stage Stop, east of Cedar City on U-14, and will end 10 kilometers or 6.2 miles later at the Thunderbird Stadium in Cedar City. The event will begin promptly at 9 a.m., according ac-cording to Stewart Smith, ASSUSC publicity coordinator. Registration will be $3 per person and can be paid at 8:30 a.m. just prior to the run or anytime before Saturday in the Student Center on the SUSC campus. "Everyone who finishes running the 10 kilometers will be given a running visor," Smith said, "and refreshments will be served." The annual fun run is just that according to Dave Taylor, acting director of student activities. ac-tivities. "It's a fun run, not a race," he said. "The objective is to have fun with emphasis on fitness rather than on competition."
