Show Elections gearing up ENTERPRISE - This year the City of Enterprise En-terprise has three city council seats and the mayor's position to be decided at the ballot box. This year the laws were changed regulating how candidate select ions were made. The City Council had the option to either continue with the nominating conventions ior each party belore Oct. Ti. or to drop the conventions con-ventions and have interested in-terested people come to the city oil ice in the spring, and ask to be placed on the ballot. The Enterprise City Council, leeling that the convention con-vention system would serve Enterprise citizens better, elected to stay w ith the original method. City council positions which will be up lor election are those oc- v ' -M. cupied at the present time by Lee Bracken, Reginald Terry and Jeannine Holt. Bracken has stated that alter careful deliberation he plans to run lor the ollice he now holds. Holt said if she runs again it will be the people's choice."
