Show Rodney N. Stanworth RODNEY N. STAN-WORTH, STAN-WORTH, 80, died July 2, 1981, in the Valley View Medical Center in Cedar City. He was born March 20, l'JOl, in Grafton to James and Susan Hirschi Stanworth. He married lva Workman on Dec. 24, l'J25 in St. George. She passed away Nov. 27, 1980. He was a graduate of Dixie College and filled a Southern States Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad lor 15 years, and was a farmer and rancher during most of his life. He served on the City Council eight years and worked on the Hurrican Canal Board. Survivors include two sons: Dell Stanworth, Hurricane; and Keith R. Stanworth of Cedar City; three daughters: Utahna Richins, Hurricane, Avonell Isom, Cedar City, and Susie Sabaitis, Washington; a brother, Otto Stanworth, Hurricane; sisters Gertrude Naegle and Thelma Webb, Las Vegas, and Ruthell Reeve, Hurricane. He had 21 grandchildren grand-children and 22 greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. Funeral services were July 6 at 11 a.m. in the Hurricane 6th LDS Chapel. Burial was at the Hurricane City Cemetery under the direction of Spilsbury and Graff Mortuary. |
