Show I Enoch & Midvolley I By VEDA MATHESON Record Correspondent Funeral services were held in the Enoch Chapel on Monday for Pearl Jones Halterman. Mrs. Halterman has been ill for several months. Her husband, Millard, and one son, Eugene, preceeded her in death. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Halterman were here from Ogden. Mr and Mrs. Richard Halterman, Mr, and Mrs. Herbert Corry, and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Spence were here from the Salt Lake area. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Halterman came from ' Yerrington, Nev., Mrs. Eugene Halterman from La Verkin and Mr. and Mrs. Max Goudge from California. They joined with Mr. and Mrs. George Halterman, Mr. and Mrs. Tone Fife and Mr. and Mrs. Donel Hunter of Cedar City and Bishop and Mrs. Glen Halterman of Parowan. Also many of Pearl's grandchildren and great-grandchildren, plus many neighbors and I friends, met to pay j homage to a wonderful '.' little lady. Burial was in the Parowan Cemetery Mrs. Grace Smith and son Gordon were here from Bountiful to attend the Halterman funeral and to visit with friends and relatives. Hunter Gibson is again in the Valley View Medical Center for treatments. The baby son of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Clark spent a i few days in the hospita'l, Burt was well enough to return home on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Danny Murray have a new baby girl born last Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. R.J. Christenson enjoyed a visit from Mrs. Christiansen's brother-in- I law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Vic ! Redding from Hawaii. ( The Christiansens met I the Reddings in Las , Vegas and after a two ' day visit here, they took , them to Salt Lake to catch a plane for South i Dakota. Mr. and Mrs. Farrell j Murie came from Washington, Utah, to attend the Halterman J funeral. They are former I redients of midvalley. |
