We hope to have a reunion next year at Qenna's home in Long Beach. Mr. and Mrs. John T. Jones are pleased to announ -ce the engagement and forthcoming forth-coming marriage of their daughter, Cindy, to Mr. Karl V. Pierce, the son of Mrs. Carol LeRoy of Spanish Span-ish Fork, and the late Ivan D. Pierce, of Cedar City. Cindy is presently employed em-ployed at the First Interstate Inter-state Bank of Utah, and Karl is employed by the Union Pacific Railroad. The couple plan to make their home in Milford. Florence and Skip Beard visited In Washington, and Oregon, where they saw their grandson,' Curtis Rollins, graduate with honors from Othello, Washington High. They were guests of Sandra and Clark Rollins. Sandra Rollins, of Albany, Oregon, and children Lisa, Tannya and Douglas, spent two weeks with her parents, Florence and Skip Beard. Whie here they had a picnic pic-nic in Nephi with the Leland Le-land Beard family, of Salt Lake. Sandra and Andrew also visited the Zeke Hickmans, Dick Rollins and the Glen Rollins families. Mitch and Beth Fisher have spent the last three weeks touring the country with their son, Jan, in his 18 wheeler diesel truck. They traveled from coast to coast and back, and went from Canada to Mexico, While In the Boston area they spent a week with Jan and his family and did some sightseeing there. Before leaving for this trip, they spent three days with their son, Tim, and his family, in Pioche, NV. Janet Walker, her son, Tom and wife, Carol, and two children, Gena and Thy-two Thy-two children, Gena and Thayne, drove to Martinez, CA list week to attend the 2 5th wedding anniversary of David and Karen Griffiths, which was given by their children, Brenda and Bruce at the home of Brenda and her husband, Terry Shima-moto, Shima-moto, in Concord. There were 90 friends and relatives attending. David's mother, Irene and her husband, hus-band, Tom Gerkin, of Vaca-ville, Vaca-ville, were there also. Janet and Tom and family fami-ly left on Monday and drove down the Coast to Carmel and stopped to enjoy the beach and ocean there. They took the lovely 17 mile drive along Pebble Beach. It was beautiful. They drove on after af-ter spending the night at Posa Robels to Long Beach where they spent the night at Glenna Fuller's, Janet's sister's sis-ter's home. The then went on to Lis Vegas then on to Cedar City. Janet arrived home Thursday July 16, sunburned, sun-burned, tired, but happy. Marion could not attend, he was taking care of Bryce Canyon all those nights. The James andMarie Rollins Rol-lins family held a Reunion in the backyard of Janet and Marion Walker's home in Milford July 18. Not as many attended as we hoped, but some of the grandchildren grandchil-dren of James and Marie's whom the aunts and uncles hadn't seen for quite a num -ber of years came from a-cross a-cross the country. They enjoyed a good gab fest and also a food feast. Attending were: Pam Sessions Ses-sions and two children, of Bountiful; DebbieCampbell, and q children, of Bountiful; Bounti-ful; Alice Alley, of Colorado; Colo-rado; Ethel Wheler, of Mid-vale Mid-vale and doug Cook and two children, of Salt Lake.
