Show OBITUARY JASPER B. PUFFER Jasper Bonelll Puffer, age 88, died April 12, 1981 at his residence. He was born September 29, 1892 in Beaver Beav-er to Ephriam O. and Ada-line Ada-line M. Bohn Puffer. He married Dora Wlnnifred Edwards Ed-wards September 29, 1916. Their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George Geor-ge IDS Temple July 6, 1963. Jasper had spent most of his life in Beaver. He had been involved in farming and mining In the local area. Mr. Puffer served as City Marshall of Beaver for two years. In 1939 he was elected elect-ed as Beaver County Sheriff, a position he held for 16 years. He was an Elder in the LDS Church and held many positions in that church. He is survived by: his wife, Winnie, of Beaver; 3 sons; J. Byron, Tucson,AZ; Robert L., Milford; Cullen Ray, Beaver; 4 daughters, i Mrs. Tony (Maxlne) Chris-i Chris-i tlansen, St. George; Mrs. 1 Woodrow (Nettie) Griffiths, , Beaver; Mrs. Bendon (La-i (La-i Rayne) Myers, and Mrs.Er-1 Mrs.Er-1 nest (Shirley) Myers, both i of Minersville. 35 grand-i grand-i children, 64 great -grand -1 children and 2 great -great -, grandchildren. One brother, i LeRoy Puffer, Tooele. 1 Services were held Wed-, Wed-, nesday April 15, in the Beav-i Beav-i er 4th Ward LDS Chapel. 1 Interment was in the Mt. View Cemetery under the di-i di-i rection of theMetcalfCamp-1 theMetcalfCamp-1 bell Mortuary. |
