Each BLM district will publish pub-lish a schedule of its field inventories. 1095 UTAHNS WRITE BLM As a result of public com -ment and participation, approximately ap-proximately 942,000 acres of public land in Utah have been deleted from what was originally ori-ginally recommended for wilderness intensive inventory inven-tory by the BLM. ' In announcing his decision on what units would receive intensive inventories, Wil-iam Wil-iam G. Leavell, BLM associate state director, said 7,000 comments were received from 1,600 people on 296 inventory units across the state. He added that his decision wul become effective effect-ive September 12, 1979, 30 days after this announcement.., announce-ment.., Leavell stated 5,427,621 , acres of public land "will be intensively inventoried. This is a reduction from the 6,-359,669 6,-359,669 acres that on April 4, were originally recom -mended in 871 units covering more than 20 million acres in Utah included in the initial inventory. Of the comments received 1095, or 78 were from people in Utah. Leavell pointed out that BLM in Utah is now in the second part of phase one of the wilderness program.
