Show Becky & Rolxrta Over in Nevada, Clark and Ida Talbert are enjoying the summer by being host to Ida's sister and family, of Oklahoma City. Ida's parents, par-ents, Coy and Ruth Lee, from Illinois are also here for their two week vacation. Austin and Arvilla Williams Wil-liams spent the weekend in Delta with their granddaughter, grand-daughter, Cheryl and husband, hus-band, Tom Stanworth. Lorene and Pam Wheeler spent some time in Cedar City last Friday. Jeanne Wheeler and Becky Williams went to Ely on business. busi-ness. Thank goodness with all the men at work in the fields, the ladies can have more fun without the menfolk. men-folk. Two of our young people Kim Rowley and John Talbert Tal-bert spent 3 days in Provo at the BYU Youth Conference. Con-ference. Rhea Dearden went along as chaperone. They report they allhadawonder- ful time. On Sunday the "After Church Roping Club" did their thing at the dusty arena here in Garrison. Delta, Ely, Burbank, Baker, and Garrison were all represented repre-sented by the young and young in heart, tall in the saddle group. They have great teachers in Lee Whitlock, Ladd Davies and Carl Dearden. Dear-den. Over in Baker, Gerry and Barbara Sand have a new 14 x 70 trailer , and her cabin barber shop is now complete. Her barber chair is the one Clark Gable had for his make up chair. What's this we hear - no Snake Valley reunion this year??? Our two daughters, Julie West and DebraConde, along with three other staff members mem-bers brought ten young people peo-ple from the LDS Hospital out to the big country to enjoy en-joy this past weekend. They camped out in tents and the staff prepared the under over -cooked food. ( |
