Happy birthday, Vie. Pam, Todd, Rod, David McMullin, Dona Carter, Christ, Kevin and little Christy Bobzien traveled to California and took the children chil-dren to Disneyland and Knottsberry Farm. Mrs. BerthaCusserkfrom California and Mrs. Lois Pearson from Cedar City are spending a few days with their sister, Mrs. Nettie Myers. My-ers. Visitors at the home of Ern and Shirley Myers this past week has been their, children, Mel and Kathleen Ives and family, Bountiful, Gordon and Lynn Myers, Saugus, California. They all enjoyed an outing at Puffer's Lake along with their other children, Danny andMaurine Foreman and Frank and Phylis Myers. Also visiting visit-ing them was Ray Kurt of Washington. Speaker at Sacrament Meeting Sunday was Dee Van Tassell and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gale Van Tassell, also participated. Carol Lemon played a piano solo. Mr. Claude Myers from Craig, Colorado, Mrs. Kathleen Kath-leen Cline and daughters, Janet and Julie spent a week at the Daisel Davis home visiting and waiting for Caroline to goto Europe with the BYU folk dancers. The Lincoln County Nevada Ne-vada Cattle Association asked ask-ed Bill Wood to take them on a tour over the reseeded area out west. Mrs. Bill Wood has returned home from spending spend-ing some time in California with her daughter and new baby. At the Vance Marshall home were Mr. and Mrs. Lou Black from Henderson, Nevada and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Madenson, Pleasant Prove to help celebrate his birthday. They are Connie's sisters. Mart and Sylvia Davis from Minersville and Jack and Gwen Odgen from Mil-ford Mil-ford took a little trip to Mesa Verda for a few days. Leon Thompson flew toSt. Louis to visit his son, Mark Thompson, and family. Mary Lou Myers from Kearns, and Bryon Myers, No. Carolina visited with their grandmother, Mrs. Gladys Myers. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Pitch -forth and family spent a few days with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Goldie Marshall. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Hunt have been visiting Mrs. Ef-fie Ef-fie Marshall and laying some new carpet for her. Mrs. Connie Marshall took a load of Mutual Girls to Lagoon to spend the day. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gibson spent a few days visiting in Provo and Salt Lake City, and took care of some business. bus-iness. Mrs. Dale (Louise) Mur-dock Mur-dock and Mrs. Paul (Lois) Thompson are helping out with Clinton Thompson, who fell and broke his arm. Mr. and Mrs. Alton Marshall Mar-shall came home for a few days during the Fourth. They have been in Denver for a while with their horses. They then returned to Denver. Den-ver. Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Mar-shall Hollingshead went to Monroe to see their new grandchild. The parents are Mr. and Mrs. Neil Hollings- Mr. and Mrs. Russell Muir and family stopped in at their parents home, Mr. and Mrs. Doug Blackburn, for a short visit. They have been living liv-ing in Denver and are now being transfered to Las Vegas. Veg-as. The family is happy to be closer to home. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Limb traveled to Vernal to see Richard's parents and brother, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Limb and Mr. and Mrs. Kent Limb. The family of Vie Marshall had a birthday dinner for her. Forty people were in v attendance including Mary Clark, Becky Clark and Vie Jolley from Salt Lake City, Roger Don Marshall from head. Many visitors were home for the Fourth of July, the parade was a real nice one with 30 floats in it, and the dinner was excellent. A birthday dinner was held at Mr. andMrs. Jerry Eyre's to celebrate Carolyn May-cock's May-cock's birthday. Those enjoying en-joying it were Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Eyre, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Eyre, Larry, Shane, -Christy, Jody, Jermy May-cock. May-cock. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Morgan spent the Fourth of July visiting vis-iting Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Eyre. |
