W ' L 1. . : I RECREATION THERAPY: A new program at the Milford Valley Memorial Hospital is planned to keep geriatric patients happy and busy. They help Cora Jones (back to camera), Marvell Connell, Luneta Kirk, and Lois Hollingshead. Lois is 93 and one of the oldest persons in Beaver County. Only Dave Tanner, 96, also in the MVMH geriatrics ward and May White, 97, Beaver, are older. Besides quilting, they play cards, checkers and other games. They plan to take auto trips, picnics and work in the greenhouse at the hospital. Talented Tal-ented people are asked to perform for them and more volunteers are needed. Those who are able to attend will be transported and furnished passes to all Civic Arts events. The Candy Stripers also help with the program. |
