Show Darwin and Vivian Marshall Mar-shall spent Thanksgiving Day in St. George visiting with Russell and Eva Guymon. La Bert a Richardson and daughter Martha of Logan-dale, Logan-dale, Nev. spent a few days visiting Clarence and Wanda Corbrldge. 'Buss' and Rhoda Walker of Milford were Sunday guests of their daughter and husband, Lyle and Shauna Carter. Mack Outzen of Tooele visited one day during the week with Darwin and Vivian Marshall. Julie Barnes and baby of Reno is visiting her parents, Dean and Dona Carter, for a few days. In Fast and Testimony meeting Sunday the son of Lyle and Shauna Carter was blessed and given the name of Chett L. Carter by Michael Mich-ael Gllllns.TressaAlbrecht, daughter of Doug and Susan Albrecht, was confirmed a member of the LDS Church by her father. Saturday evening eve-ning Tressa was baptized by her father. Ralph and June Pearson were in Salt Lake Wednes- . day, Thursday and Friday to attend the Cattlemen's Association Convention. . Connie Chris Marshall was honored at this time by the Utah Cowbelles for winning 1st Place in the story contest con-test for the State. Her story Is a human interest story of true life experience in the cattle industry. Her story was sent to the National Contest, and It Is also printed elsewhere in this issue. Wednesday evening the American Legion Auxiliary and their partners held a Christmas Party. Turkey, dressing and all the good things that go with It were served to about 50 people. Games and visiting were enjoyed en-joyed afterwards. Fred and Lucille Cristen of Las Vegas and Pat and Garnetta Dotson of Spring-vllle Spring-vllle visited on Monday with Dohn and Mildred Martin. Susan Camp of DUP held their meeting at the home of Mary Beth Bailey. The lesson, "Old Cemeteries", was given by Mary Beth. Light refreshments were served to five members present.
