Miss Turner is the new coach. The Drama Club held elections. elec-tions. Officers are: Jacki Messer, Pres.; Sandy Less-ing, Less-ing, Secretary; and Pam Wright Historian. The Club plans to have a spook house and play for Halloween, a full length musical, and an assembly every month. Mr. Moss is the teacher and the public is invited to support and enjoy the Drama Club's activities. The North Sevier -Beaver game was a good one. The The first score came midway mid-way through the first quarter when Mitch Oakden scored for Beaver, from 40 yards out. Oakden also kicked the extra point. During half time the B -Steps entertained with and outstanding performance. When play resumed, it was a hard fought battle for both sides. With five minutes left in the third quarter, Travis Simpson, No. Sevier, on a quarterback keeper, scored from 2 yards out and kicked the extra point to tie the game. Early in the 4th, Gary Goff (B) ran 32 yards up the side line for a TD. Oakden kicked ' I the extra point. With only three minutes ' ! left in the game, Steve Gil- I lins intercepted a short No. Sevier pass and ran it back to the N.E. 20 yard line. Tough Wolf defense kept the ' Beavers from scoring. On 4th and long, Mitch Oakden tried a 20 yard field goal, but a high snap from cen- 1 " ter caused holder Steve Gil-lins Gil-lins to run, and he was dropped drop-ped 2 yards short of a first down. The game ended with Beaver Bea-ver winning 14 to 7. Beaver Bea-ver is now 2-1. They gained gain-ed 144 yards on the ground, attempted two passes, completing com-pleting one, gave up the ball on a fumble and had an interception. They had four penalties for forty yards. North Sevier had 71 yards on the ground and 33 yards ; in 6 completed passes out of 14 attempted. The Wolves turned the ball over twice on fumbles andhadtwo inter- ! ceptions. Outstanding Out-standing defensive players were Steve Gillins, Mitch Oakden and David Crook for Beaver and Travis Simpson for North Sevier. The football team had a pre-school game at Kanab, where quarterback Steve Gillins was injured and Chad Dalton was hurt and will likely be out for the rest of the season. New teachers this year include Rick Webster taking Coach Don Tuft's place; John Kerksiek, type; Miss Turner, Turn-er, girls P.E. and Miss Anderson, Home Ec.
