Show CONG. HOWE IN MILFORD WED., APRIL 21 Cong. Allan Howe will tour the Milford geothermal area next Wednesday, prior to a public meeting with local people at 2:00 p.m. in the Milford Library. Howe is scheduled to arrive ar-rive in Milford at 10:00 a.m. on the 21st and until the 2:00 public meeting will be escorted es-corted by Mayor Roy Young. Purpose of the meeting is to gain local input on the 'Clean Air Act' amendments currently before Congress. The bill could have a dramatic dra-matic impact on whether or not Utah will be able to make full use of its energy resources. re-sources. The amendments will, if passed in their present form, require Class I air near National Na-tional Parks and would cripple crip-ple the Kaiparowits project if not stop it altogether, along with IPP and the Warner Valley Project. Rep. Howe also wishes local views on the alunite project, geothermal energy, the increase in grazing fees, BLM's handling of federal lands, the ParkService, balancing bal-ancing the federal budget, continuation of revenue sharing, shar-ing, and the battle against gun legislation.
