They are (1-r); Verna Tomsik, Gayle Gale and Zelda Coon. Old Timers Auxiliary have social The Old Timers Club House was the site for the monthly meeting and social for October. The meeting was conducted by President Mrs. Stan Roberts. She gave a report of the Old Timers General Convention held in Sun Valley, Idaho this year. Those attending were: Pres. and Mrs. Richard L. Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Stan Roberts (Pres.), and Mrs. and Mrs. Thurland D. Sly. President Kennifik, of Union Pacific Railroad, gave remarks on the railroad and how it stands in regards to its present business. Adrienne Roberts announced an-nounced that Club 33 had taken the Historical (Traveling) (Travel-ing) Trophy again this year for their scrapbook. This makes four years in a row for this honor. The Club is very active, and the members mem-bers are very cooperative. After the meeting a delicious deli-cious luncheon was served by the following committee: Chairman, Mrs. LuDean Barnes; Co-chairman, Mrs. Max Mecham ; Mrs. G. D. Schaidt, Mrs. T. I. Williams, Mrs. Robert R. Davis, Mrs. D. V. Young, and Mrs. Gale Banks. The rest of the afternoon was spent playing cards. Prizes went for: Bridge, Mrs. Nate Smith and Mrs. T. D. Sly; Pinochle, Mrs. Floyd Bird and Mrs. C. D. Gilliam; 500, Mrs. Neva Kinross; Kin-ross; and cut prizes, Mrs. Rowena Winn and Mrs. Roy Labrum. |
