Show Senior Citicns to be honored A full day of entertainment and activities are in store for senior citizens at the Utah State Fair on Wednesday, September 10th. C.W. (Chuck) Robbins, Chairman of the State Fair Committee for the Senior Citizens Executive Exec-utive Association of Utah, says that this year senior citizens day will provide entertainment for senior of all interests. One exciting performance will be Old Time Fiddling by the Utah Fiddlers and Country Coun-try Music Association of Og-den Og-den at 2:15 p.m. followed by awards to senior citizens from throughout Utah. The awards to be presented to seniors are for: The oldest Senior Citizen, The Couple Married the Longest, The ages, The Senior Citizen with the Most Grandchildren, and The Most recent Newlyweds. Roger Miller will have a featured act at 6:30 and again at 9:15. Candy Candido will be the emcee in the Grandstand Grand-stand for the performance of Roger Miller and. the Dave Merrifield Helicopter Act. Other acts during the day will include Clegg's Melotime Melodrama, Tacky the Clown Fun Show, the Wasatch High School Band from Heber City, Jeff Allen, singer, and the Sweet Adelines. Seniors 62 years of age and older are admitted for half price, one dollar. Tickets for the Ice Show are three or four dollars and provide free admission to the Fair.
