Show TAPE PERSONAL HISTORIES: Historical Group To Learn Interviewing Techniques Mr. Jay Haymond told 19 members of the Mllford Historical His-torical Society that at the June meeting he would bring tape recorders and teach them how to use them, and interview individuals to record re-cord their personal hlstor- who make significant donations dona-tions to the society. The Milford group is proceeding pro-ceeding as fast a s possible to become a legal entity, and began the work of preserving pre-serving the history of the area. There are now approximately approxi-mately 40 members coming from all over Beaver County. les for posterity. A faucett of the Society's work, all persons interested in this type of work should make a special effort to attend at-tend the next meeting on June 12 and the instruction will extend over the next evening. Mr. Haymond, of the State Historical Society, told the group of the advantages of forming a non-profit organization. organ-ization. He suggested they apply for tax exempt status. He said when this had been accomplished it would also be possible to give a tax write-off to those individuals |
