Mr. Price had offered the building area to the city for an iee skating rink, Ibut was refused. EASTER EGG HUNT SET FOR SATURDAY A.M. Easter will get a big kick-off on Saturday when Milford youth from pre-school age up to the sixth grade will vie for candy eggs and hard boiled eggs which will be worth prizes when turned in, according to Mrs. Evan Lister, chairman of the Lady Lions sponsored event. Pre-schoolers should be on the line at 10:30 and Kindergarten, Kinder-garten, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades and the 4th, 5th and 6th grades will make the mad dash at 11:00 o'clock. All events will take place on library hill, though the preschoolers pre-schoolers may make their dash from the confines of the city hall lawn across the street. The girl scouts with their-leader their-leader Wilma Swain are dyeing the prize eggs. Prizes and the eggs are being bought from donations do-nations of businessmen and organizations. Other members of Mrs. Lister's Lis-ter's committee are Elaine Brad-field, Brad-field, Shiela Brinkman and Zelda Coon. |
