' ' y ;i-4--, - '"''..'''-is-"r' j - - -v DEDICATION SUNDAY: The LDS Church pictured inside and an addition on the back will undergo dedi-above dedi-above which has been extensively remodeled on the cation ceremonies this Sunday. DEDICATION SET FOR LDS CHURCH Dedication of the addition to, and remodeling of the Milford LDS Church) will take place Sunday afternoon, January 31st at 2:30 p.m. Visiting 'authority for the occasion oc-casion will be Bishop Victor L. Brown, Second Counselor, Presiding Pre-siding Bishopric, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Work started on the addition and revamping of the church November 14, 1969. Carter Bros, of Cedar City were the general gener-al contractors. The original building was made from rock blocks taken from the Old Murdock Academy Acad-emy in Bevaer after it was abandoned and unused. J. M. Hughes was in charge of the tearing down of the academy and moving the block to Milford and building of the church. This was done almost totally with volunteer help by members of the church. Cost of this last remodeling was $53,000. Much volunteer-labor volunteer-labor was donated by members of the church. The public is invited. |
