Show LICENSE DEADLINE NEAR A new hunting and fishing license will be a necessity for the Utah outdoorsman, beginning begin-ning Wednesday, April 16, as Divisin of Fish and Game Conservation Con-servation Officers will begin close checks to see that all fishermen have a proper license. li-cense. The new licenses will be available later this week from license agents in all parts of the state, allowing ample time to make a stop before going on a fishing trip after the new license li-cense deadline. Because of the usual deadline rush for licenses, a close check should be made before leaving the license agents. Be sure you have the type of license you want. An occasional bird license has been sold to a fisherman fish-erman or an adult license to a juvenile. The spring season is for mal3 birds only. A season limit of two gobblers was set by trie Board of Fish and Game, with legal shooting time as daylight hours. Persons 12 to 15 years of age may hunt wild turkey, but they must be accompanied by someone some-one over 21 years of age. Successful hunters must remember re-member to leave one wing fully feathered attached to their bird if they field dress them, to permit identification as a legal male turkey. There is an unlimited number num-ber of permits available for wild turkey and they will remain re-main on sale until the close of the season. |
