Show Match and family, hi'g nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Philip Keith and family, all of Salt Lake, and Mr. Keith's sister, Miss Mary Nagle of Caliente. Pfc. Ronald T. Walker is home on furlough and attended attend-ed the wedding of his sister, Deanna. He will leave Sept. 15 for New Jersey, prior to an assignment in Germany, a Pfc. Ronald Walker and Theman Walker visited Bob p-nd Marge Schramm Tuesday at Puffers Lake. THIS AND THAT -- WITH PAT Mr. and Mrs. Weston Vernon Ver-non and daughter Lauri of Salt Lake spent the Labor Day holidays hol-idays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Vernon. They also visited Mr. and Mrs .DeWayne Williams. Ron and Judy Gilliam of Lynnwood, Calif., are here for a week's vacation at the homes of parents Mr. and Mrs. Doug Gilliam and Mr. and Mrs. El-wood El-wood Jefferson. Also at the Gilliam home are their son Fred and Adele Gilliam and sons of Salt Lake. 9 A birthday dinner was given in honor of Harold Baxter, last Saturday, by his wife Vvs. Attending were Mr. and Mrs. Max Baxter and grandson Jeff Paice, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Baxter and family, and Mrs. Georgia Allen of Virgin, a brother in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. William Clark and daughters Pam and Suzi, all of Whittier, Calif. The group enjoyed fishing, arrowhead arrow-head hunting, and a trip to the ghost town Frisco, The Ar-vizers Ar-vizers will leave Thursday, and the Clarks and CoMiors will spend the week end at Puffers Lake. 9 Mr. and Mrs, John Jimenez and family were in the northern north-ern part of the state over the Labor Day holidays, visiting a (brother in law and sister, Dick and Mary Blomquist, and enjoying en-joying a day at Lagoon, 9 Guests of Mr, and Mrs, M, H. Pool the last several days were Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Mc-Whorter Mc-Whorter and daughter Sarah of Denver; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Dodson of Baywood City, Cal.; and Rick Esseg of Oceanside, Calif. They are now vacationing vaca-tioning jn the Utah and Colorado Colo-rado National Parks. Mrs. Gladys David, sister of Mrs. Pool, returned Monday from visiting relatives. 9 Visiting Mr. and Mrs. John ' H. Walker were Mrs. Walker's ' sisters Mrs. L. W. (Nora) Harris Har-ris and children Kristine and Larry, and the Harris' daughter, daugh-ter, Mr. and Mrs. Franz Buyt-endorp Buyt-endorp and daughter Dena, of San Leandro, Calif.; Mrs. R. G. (Lillie) Gibson and son of Chino, Calif. Visiting the Walkers Saturday were daughters daugh-ters Mr. and Mrs. Raymond (Nora Ann) Vorheis and daughter Dorie, and Mr. and Mrs. David (Patricia) Garrett and daughter Tammy, all of Salt Lake. 9 Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Bingham are in the northern part of the state attending a Gillins iamily reunion. 9Steven Labrum, son of Mr and Mrs. Roy Labrum, has received re-ceived his discharge from the Army, He was serving with the MPs at Ft, Hood, Texas. Joe and Connie Puffer and baby of Las Vegas were Labor Day visitors at the homes of parents, Bishop and Mrs. Leon Jones, and Oren Puffer. 9 Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Walt Ellis were his mother " and brother, Mrs. Dee Gipson and Dennis of Ely, Nev., and Mrs. Ellis' father, Mac McClintock and friend Helen Wixon of Cherokee, Iowa. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Ray Jennings ox San Diego .Calif., are at the home of Mrs, Jennings son and daughter in law, Dr. and Mrs. David A, Symond. The Jennings' Jen-nings' daughter Adrienne has been visiting the Symond's for the past month and plans to stay another two weeks. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Munk announce the birth of Debra Ann, Aug. 19th in San Pablo, Calif. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Sylvan Munk and Mr. and Mrs, David Coleman. Mrs. Munk spent two weeks with the Kenneth Munks. 9 Mrs. Eleanor Sexton and children Mark and Gaylene of San Diego are spending two weeks with her brother in law and sister, Claude and Verle Horton. 9 Mrs. Judy Bailey and children chil-dren of Salt Lake spent a week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Horton and visited her brother and sister in law, Mr. and Mrs Russell Horton, prior to their departure depar-ture for Salida, Colo. 9 Neal and Patsy Garfield and son Curtis spent their vacation with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Garfield. They were also in Salt Lake visiting her father, Oral Evans, and Mr. Garfield's brother in law and sister, Bud and Carol Johnson in Provo. On returning to their home in Redlands, Calif., they took their son Steve who had visited his grandparents for six weeks. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Alden Johnson of Semi, Calif., and Mr. and Mrs. Nils Johnson and son of St. Louis, Mo.,were here to visit the men's mother, Mrs. Dora Johnson and to attend funeral services for their sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Sandra Pedersen, in Salt Lake last Tuesday. Nils and family visited here until Thursday. 9 Mrs. Renee Baldwin of Swiss, Minn., is spending two weeks here visiting friends and attending the art seminar. 9 Linda and Darlene Williams, daughters of Leon and Dorothy Doro-thy Williams of Mira Loma, Calif., will spend the winter with the family of Jake Schow. Darlene has enrolled at Milford High School for her senior year, and Linda will seek employment. em-ployment. Also at the Schow home over the Labor Day week end wa3 their daughter Elaine. e Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Veazey were their son Bob and his buddies Joe Houston and Richard Rich-ard Fisher, who are with the Air Force stationed at St. George; also Mrs. Veazey's sister sis-ter and nephew, Mrs. Ben Bonner Bon-ner and Jack of Sentinel, Okla. 9 David Killam, who has been employed with IBM in Rochester, Roches-ter, N. Y., spent the week end with parents Mr. and Mrs. Robert Killam. He will enroll en-roll at the University of Utah to complete work for his master's mas-ter's degree in electronic engineering. engi-neering. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Ted Slaight and her great-granddaughter Sheila of Lancaster, Calif , spent the week end with friends Mr. and Mrs. Joe Rick-erson. John and Vicki Carter of Cedar City drove to Beverly Hills, Calif., to get Vicki's sister sis-ter Joyce. Joyce will stay with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lamar La-mar Grimshaw, until December, Decem-ber, when she plans to marry.
