Show RANDALL BANKS WILL BE HONORED ON BIRTHDAY Randall Moore Banks, 80, will be honored at an open house in the Minersville LDS Ward, on Sunday, July 28. His children will be hosts. Mr. Banks was born July 24, 1888, in Minersville, to Joseph Banks Jr. and Paulina Myers Banks. A member of the LDS Church, he served as a home ' missionary in Minersville and the Beaver Bottoms. At pres ent he holds the position of High Priest. He married Julia Burton Banks, in Minersville. She died Dec. 19, 1939. They were the parents of seven children, Burton, Kanab; Virginia Beaumont, Beau-mont, Beaver; Dorothy Morris, Dick Banks and Jessie Williams, Wil-liams, Milford; Robert, Enter-prize, Enter-prize, Shannon and Caldwell, Salt Lake. He married Loneva Craw and they still live in Minersville. Miners-ville. As a young man he sheared sheep every spring, farmed, ! gardened, and worked for the Union Pacific. He retired in 1960, and since has been active, ac-tive, gardening and working for the Town of Minersville. He has 32 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. |
