Live music will be provided by a group, and the Red Cross members are hoping everyone will join in and make this dance successful Don't let them down! Vocational Day was held at CSU again this year, and on Tuesday a large group of stu- dents traveled to Cedar to represent rep-resent Milford High at the activities ac-tivities I Teams containing four stu- dents entered competition in ; the Type I and II and Shorthand Short-hand I and II contests. They pitted their speed and accuracy accu-racy against that of students from schools in Region 8 and Lincoln County, Nev. The results re-sults of these contests should reach MHS within the next two weeks. Some Milford shop students also placed their projects into competition. They were well rewarded for their efforts by receiving several first and second sec-ond places. A group of Mrs. Rimpau's 1 Home Ec girls toured various facilities and classroms at the College, and also attended a special fashion show. Everyone enjoyed the trip, and the students who competed feel that they did a good job of representing MHS. o This week seems to be "party week'.' at Milford High. Those clubs and student groups which haven't already had their party have made plans for one. The Future Homemakers of America held a weiner roast in Ranch Canyon on Wednesday evening. They toasted a successful suc-cessful year, and elected new officers for next year. On Thursday evening Mrs. McCulley treated her second year shorthand students to a dinner at the Hong Kong Cafe. They all had a lovely time, and the girls finally realized why taking shorthand for two years pays oft The Senior class has slated their annual party for next Monday. Their tentative plans call for a steak fry somewhere up in the mountains. i o Tomorrow is GRUBBY DAY |
