Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Bond and Mrs. Cuma Goodwin attended at-tended funeral services for a cousin, Luohen Barkhull, in Meadow last Saturday. Mrs. Cuma Goodwin and son B 11 were in Kannarraville calling on a cousin, Lorin Robinson. Rob-inson. C William J. Schenk left Friday Fri-day for Okinawa, where he i: stationed with the Armed Forces. He had spent three-weeks three-weeks here with his wife Elaine and daughter Lori. O Mrs. Melba White returned Wednesday from Canoga Park, Calif., where she spent a week with her son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd White. Mrs. Kaye Miller and baby and her father, Cecil Wright of Wyoming, are visiting relatives in Washington. Joe Murdock and family spent last week in Milford en route from Bountiful to their new home in San Jose, Calif. Mrs. Mae Johnson and daughters Mrs. Kenneth Hay-ner Hay-ner and Miss Vickie Johnson were guests of Mrs. Johnson's sister, Mrs. Morgan Griffiths, while here to attend funeral services for Kent Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Gillins have returned from Glendale, I Calif., where they spent the holidays with their son in law I and daughter, Ronald and Hel-I Calif., spent several days with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Tribole. Judy Muto of Montebello, Calif., also was n recent visitor of the Triboles. 9 Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Tribole will spend the week end with their son, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Tribole, in Bountiful. O Mrs. Helen Clements returned re-turned from Troy, N. Y., where she had been sines Dec. 18 after receiving word that her daughter, Mrs. Dian Venaziano, was ill. Week end visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Walker were their sons Tom of Phoenix, Ariz., and Dick, a student stu-dent at the C S U. Pam and Debbie Grimes of Eountiful spent the week end with their mother, Mrs. Virginia Vir-ginia Grimes. Spending the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell White were their son Craig, of Los Angeles, and Mrs. White's mother, Mrs. Edith Force of Modena. Dan James of Layton spent last week end with his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom James. Lenna Galloway of Salt Lake was a recent visitor at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Galloway. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Blaine cf Salt Lake spent last Wednesday Wed-nesday and Thursday visiting Mrs. Blaine's brother in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Wellington. C Ross Fotheringham left for Mesa, Ariz., to see his son Michael, who has just returned from Germany where he was stationed with the U S Air Force. 9 Mrs. Dora Johnson left for Semi, Calif., last Friday to visit en Jean Simpkins and baby Ronnie. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Davis of Ruth, Nev., were here Tuesday to attend funeral services for ' Mrs. Davis' great-grandmother, Mrs .Bertha Turner Gehring. Here to attend funeral services ser-vices for their father, Kent Smith, were Mrs. Helen Knip-pen Knip-pen of Winfield, 111.; Mrs. Shri-ley Shri-ley Persons of Phoenix, Ariz.; and Mrs. Jean and husband Grant Morby of Bountiful. Mrs. Lora Skillicorn of Salt Lake is spending a week here prior to leaving for Chicago to visit a daughter, Mrs. Delores Hegland. Harry Martin has returned to Milford and resumed his employment em-ployment at the Service Ga- : rage. Sgt. Charles R. Willyard son of Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Will-yard, Will-yard, has been transferred to the Cam Ron Bay area, on the island of Guam. O Mrs. Betty Hancock of Denver Den-ver was here to see her mother, moth-er, Mrs. Ethel Killam, who is confined to the Milford Valley Val-ley Memorial Hospital, and to visit her brothers, Cecil and Robert Killam. Her daughter, Mrs. Karen Talmer of Salt Lake, joined the family in Milford and accompanied Mrs. Hancock back to Denver, where she will stay while her husband hus-band is serving in Thailand with the Armed Forces, e Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Killam and daughter Kristi spent the holidays in Logan with their children, Mr. and Mrs. John Killam and Miss Kathy Killam. On New Year's Day the group visited the family of Mrs. John Killam in Huntsville. |
