Ariz., are visiting m Mincrsville until after Memorial Memor-ial Day. , Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hes-lington Hes-lington and children of Salt Lake were guests last week at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Heslintgon. 9 Parents of Minersville students stu-dents who will graduate from Beaver High School honored their children at a party in Hie LDS Church Saturday. A fried chicken dinner was served, and the students exchanged ex-changed gifts. Mrs. Reva Al-brecht Al-brecht presented each student with a picture of the old Minersville schoolhouse where they first attended school. Bea-ver. 5 Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Banks of Northern Utah and Mr. and Mrs. George Banks of Paro-wan Paro-wan spent Sunday with their mother, Mrs. Armina Banks, who was released that day from the Milford Valley Memorial Me-morial Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Roberts of Oregon and Mr. and Mrs. Clintcn Thompson of Salt Lake have returned from a trip to Kentucky, where they attended the Kentucky Derby and visited scenic spots, Mr. and Mrs. Heber Williams Wil-liams of Salt Lake and Mr. and Mrs. George Williams of Hurricane visited relatives and friends here this week. 6 The 'old two-story McKnight house has been razed and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gillins will build a home on the lot. e Mrs. Nancy Sisneros and children of Boulder, Nev., are visiting her mother, Mrs. Ruth Dotson. 6 Mrs. Mike Black of Beaver is at the home of her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Ty Gillins, with a new son born May 17 in the Cedar City hospital. Carolyn Pryor, teen age daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Har- ! old Pryor of Weed Heights, Nev., will be in Minersville ever the Memorial week end. Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Stoddard Stod-dard and family are moving back to Milford. e Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Myers and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Carter Car-ter were recently in Salt Lake. The annual sale of American Legion Auxiliary Memorial Poppies will be held Saturday, May 27. C Chris Eyre ,13 year old son oi Mr. and Mrs. Dale Eyre, is in the Beaver Hospital for treatment of second and third degree burns on his body, suffered suf-fered when a bucket of hot tar he was carrying spilled over his bedy. Chris was on the roof of the new home of Mr. and Mrs. Truman Bradfield when he slipped while carrying carry-ing the tar. About 30 of his body was burned. Arlene Craw, 6 year old daughter of Jim and Illene Craw, has been released from the Milford Valley Memorial Hospital after receiving treatment treat-ment for a fractured arm suffered suf-fered last Thursday when she slipped while running on wet grass. |
