Show EASTERN STAR RECEIVES GRAND CHAPTER OFFICERS Officers of the Grand Chapter, Chap-ter, Order of Eastern Star, made their official visit to Ruth Chapter No. 6 on Friday, April 21st, in the Masonic Temple. Mrs. Gladys Bush, worthy matron, presided, assisted by W. P. Miller, worthy patron. Honored guests were Mrs. Vera G. Schroeder, Salt Lake, worthy grand matron; Oscar F. Bartholomew, Salt Lake, worthy grand patron; Mrs. Wanda B. Riggle, Neola, associate asso-ciate grand matron; and Lamar La-mar H. Jones, Price, associate grand patron. They were accompanied ac-companied by 14 other grand officers. Seven grand representatives were present, including Mrs. Eeniji J. Burke of Milford, who represents the Grand Jur-is-diction of Florida in Utah. More than 80 members and visitors attended the interesting interest-ing meeting, and nearly every chapter in the state was represented. repre-sented. Mrs. Schroeder's theme this year is Patriotism. Her message mes-sage was timely and inspiring. The worthy grand patron also gave a challenging talk. After the meeting a delicious smorgasbord was served. |
