Mrs. Annie Denney was released re-leased from the Milford Valley Val-ley Memorial Hospital Wednesday, Wednes-day, after eight weeks of treatment treat-ment for a fractured leg. Hare to assist Mrs. Denney is her daughter, Mrs. Donna Guenther of Oildale, Calif. O Fred Wright was recently elected Lion Tamer of the Cedar Ce-dar City Lions Club. C Mrs. Billie Stoker and Mrs. Lillian Mayer attended the Springville High School Junior Prom last Saturday night. A grandson of Mrs. Stoker, Mike Jones, is a member of the class. ' " ' Mrs. Grace Marshall and daughter, Mrs. Kathy Rowley, have returned from Pocatello, Idaho, where they joined Mrs. Marshall's son Gary, who is home on leave from the U S Navy Base at Bainbridge, Md. After he and his wife visit in Milford Gary will be assigned to duty on the destroyer USS John A. Bold. 9 Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Vee Wadsworth and three children and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Holmes and baby visited Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Wadsworth. Mr .and Mrs. Holmes remained until Monday. 9 P. E. Kennedy Jr. is home on two-week vacation. Mr. Kennedy is employed on the Union Pacific by Sperry Rail Service. Kathy Holland, Weber State College student, spent last week end at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Holland. Hol-land. 9 Blaine Nichols, BYU student, stu-dent, will spend the week end in Milford. Vince Wisner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Wisner, and Lyle Hatch, son of Mrs. K. S. Hatch, attended a three-day school at St. Thomas Seminary in Denver, Den-ver, Colo, returning last Monday. Mon-day. O Mrs. Florence Beard is in Pasco. Wash., for a two week isit with a son in law and daughter, Clark and Sondra Rollins and son Curtiss. Mr. and Mrs. P. E. Kennedy Sr. are visiting their son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. P. E. Kennedy Jr., en route to their home in Caliente after spending two months in Canada. Can-ada. Mrs. Julia Rae Alger and son Gary are staying in Milford Mil-ford with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Banks, while hex husband Gerald is working in Mercury, Nev., as a driller for Boyles Drilling Co. Dennis and Vicki Halsey, newlyweds, are new residents. Mr. Halsey is employed by the Union Pacific on the section at Black Rock. They were married mar-ried in Hinckley, April 8th. Bishop of Hinckley. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Florin Bingham spent the week end of the LDS Conference in Salt Lake with ; their son ancl daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Bingham, and another son, Howard, from Cottage Grove, Oregon, who was there to attend conference. Howard is dean of a boys' high school in Cottage Grove and is bishop of the Cottage Grove Ward. He is now on a field trip to West Point Military Academy. Babe and Hazel Ruth were in Enterprise Sunday to be j with her father, Joseph Terry, I on his 91st birth anniversary. C Mrs. Frances Smithson has returned from a visit in Salt ' Lake. Mrs. Florence Barnes and a ' sister, Mrs. Mary Singleton, were in San Francisco tg be with Mrs. Barnes' son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Barnes, on their 25th I wedding anniversary. Eddie and Lillian Anderson will leave May 1 for their summer sum-mer home at West Yellowstone, Montana. Misses Deanna Walker and Helen Finch of South Milford vacationed five days last week in California, house guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Simms of Huntington Beach. They also visited Larry Larson, who is attending school at Ingle-wood. Ingle-wood. Larry and Deanna were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Curt Spoville of Gardena. Both ladies are sisters of Larry. En route home they visited an uncle of Miss Finch in Elsi-nore, Elsi-nore, Calif. |
