Show THIS WEEK IN MINERSVILLE As Reported By GWEN PRYOR 9 Fonette Osborne, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Osborne of Cedar City, married Mr. Steven W. Thompson in the St. George Temple on Jan. 27. A reception was given in Cedar City. 9 Mrs. Loneva Banks is visiting visit-ing her children in Salt Lake this week. Visiting her son and daughter daugh-ter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Ashley Jr., is Mrs. Joe Ashley of California. Mrs. Effie Marshall was honored hon-ored by her family at a birthday birth-day party at her home on Feb. 12th. 9 Mr. "and Mrs. Rex Limb and children of Washington, Utah, spent the week end here visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Jameson. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gillins and family of Kearns visited Mr. and Mrs. Jule Gillins and Mrs. Lillie Lambson over the week end. 9 Word was received of the birth of a son to Mr. and Mrs. David Griffiths in California. This is the couple's first child. Grandparents are Mr .and Mrs. Mervin Edwards. 9 Dodie Davis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Heber Davis, enjoyed en-joyed her fifth birthday with a party on Feb. 10. O Mr. and Mrs. Dalton Fails motored to Ely over the week end to visit their son in law and daughter, Dub and Barbara Bar-bara McGhee and children. 9 Stan McKnight spent last week end in Midvale visiting bis wife Lillian. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Marshall, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Eyre and Mr. and Mrs. Garold Eyre plan to leave this week for a trip through Arizona and California. Cali-fornia. 9 Mrs. Lorraine Frazer of l'ooele visited an aunt, Mrs. Amanda Nolder, Friday of last week. 9 Mr. and Mrs. George Banks of Parowan visited his mother, Mrs. Armina Banks, on Sunday. Sun-day. Armina is a patient at the Milford Valley Memorial Hospital. 9 David Eyre, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Eyre, enjoyed his fourth birthday with a party on Monday, Feb. 13. 9 Mrs. Ida Williams accompanied accompa-nied Mr. and Mrs. Emil Now-ers Now-ers of Las Vegas to Minersville to visit their . mother, Mrs. Lucy Williams, over the week end. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Truman Brad-field Brad-field are new grandparents.
