Show MARTIN SHERWOOD DIES SATURDAY Martin VanBuren Sherwood, 76 died of natural causes July 2 in a Milford hospital. He was born April 3, 1890, in Juab to Thomas and Rhoda Jennings Sherwood. He married mar-ried Laura Davis in January, 1911, in Beaver. She died July 19, 1956. He was a member of the LDS Church. He was a retired farmer. Survivors are a son, Jimmie M., Milford; daughters Mrs. Nora Wright, Milford; Mrs. Charley (Rhoda) Ballou and Mrs. James (Eva) Meeks, both of Martinez, Calif.; Mrs. Ernest Ern-est P. (Mable) Beebe, Richmond, Rich-mond, Calif.; Mrs, Boyd (Donna) (Don-na) Burnham, Mrs. Royal (Hazel) Rogers, both of Salt Lake; 19 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; a brother George Sherwood, Pocatello, Idaho; sisters Mrs. Gertie Shep-ard Shep-ard Levan, and Mrs. Johanna Hedges, Salt Lake. Funeral services were conducted con-ducted Wednesday afternoon, Out of town relatives attending at-tending the services included Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ballou and son John, and Mrs. Eva Meeks of Martinez, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. E. P. Beebe and daughter Pamela, Richmond, ' Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Burnham and family Mr. and Mrs. Jay Rogers and family, all of Salt Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wright and family, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Wright and family, Beaver; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wright, Cedar City. |
