(During the next few weeks the Beaver County News will be moving their offices ,and converting the printing process of this newspaper I ifrom letiterpress to offset. This conversion to offset printing should make I the News more versatile, and make it possible for us to better serve our subscribers and advertisers-Due advertisers-Due to the changes, our deadlines will be moved ahead' and they must be adhered to, without exception. The new deadlines are : Advertising, Monday, Mon-day, 12:00 noon; School news- cluib news, weekly columns, 5:00 p.m. Friday. All other news and classified ads, Monday, 12:00 noon. Pictures, Monday, 12:00 noon. All deadlines will be advanced one day when a holiday falls . during the week. In the past few years, many changes have taken place in Utah news-papering. news-papering. When we came to Milford in 1970, there were just a few, (under ten) newspapers in the state that were printing by the offset method- Over the next couple of years, nearly half of Utah's newspapers had converted, and were printing offset. During this past year, the big move to offset was made, leaving only three papers, including' the News, printing the old fash- , ioned letterpress way. The News is the only paper that has remained 100 H percent letterpress, and with this conversion, it too will go offset. , R Our format will change. We will be able to handle more news, more i features, and we hope more advertising. To do this we are making a considerable investment in the future of Milford. We believe this invest- I mervt is justified, in light of Milford's potential- We ask the cooperation of H our subscribers and advertisers, during this changeover, and in the future. H With this cooperation, we hope to see Milford prosper and grow, and the H News to serve you for many years to come.
