Show - -- m ' h - .; f a --v -J l Mrs. Darlene Wright and children of Hurricane, Utah are visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Ames, in Baker, Utah. Bruce Kerr of Baker has gone back to Ohio for a 21st year cla,ss reunion. Mr. and Mrs. Ursel Rhodes spent the winter months in Kail-va, Kail-va, Hawaii with their daughter Nadine, husband David and children. chil-dren. Mr. Rhodes returned in April to work on their ranch in Spring Valley. While there Mrs. Rhodes had a cataract operation opera-tion on her right eye at the St. Frances Hospital in Honolulu. She returned home this month bringing a granddaughter Maile with her. Mrs. Connie Wright and children chil-dren of Almo were visitors at the Rhodes Ranch in Spring Valley Val-ley for a few days. Ruth returned re-turned home with her mother after a nice visit with her grandparents. The two older children, Ryan and Nancy, will remain until school starts. Trish is a twin sister of Pam's. James, Pam and nephew Stan spent the weekend in Delta for a Callister family runion. Fifteen Fif-teen children out of sixteen in the family were present. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Brush of Strawberry Ranch ( 12 miles out of Baker) were visitors at Mrs. Brush's sister's (Gladys) in Logan, Lo-gan, Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Pettin-gill. Pettin-gill. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Brush attended at-tended a wedding in the Salt Lake temple for their grandson, Cory Fuokes, August 10th.. Nin-ty-eight weddings were performed per-formed that morning. Fifteen were held over for evening. A reception was held that evening in Richfield at the Benson Stake house in honor of the young couple. Carl and Judy Webb and children of Oasis were visitors with Pat and Owen Gondtr and family of Garrison last Sunday Sun-day . Attending the Talent Show in Miiford were 10 year old Kirk Davies of Burbank, who aid very well on the piano and came in 4th, his parents, Pat and Ladd Davies and sisters, Tracy and Cindy; Bonnie and Scott Teeples (Pat's sister) of Cedar City; Rose Rogers of Fillmore Fill-more and Arvilla Loomis of Washington State (both aunts of Ladd's) ; Pat's mother, Ruth Thorton and husband of Fillmore; Fill-more; Beulah and Ernest Caub-luiq Caub-luiq of Baker, and Billie Osborne of Big Springs, Nev. Billie Osborne enjoyed the pageant, "Miiford, Our Lady", Friday night, the Lions' breakfast break-fast and parade Saturday. She says 'well done' to a wonderful Centennial. Rhea Nelson of Cedar City was a visitor last weekend at the Carl Dearden ranch. Duane Lyon of Ely, Nev. was at the Carl Dearden ranch doing .some carpenter work for them. He is married to Mrs. Dearden's sister. A baby duaghter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Dee Heckethorn.
