Show Edwards Limelight Of Awards Show i. All these years of effort, giving giv-ing 100 to old MHS paid off for a few cf the Seniors of 1973 and a couple of Junicrs at the Annual MHS Awards Assembly last Friday. Robert Edwards garnered a better than average share, including in-cluding an award frcm the Sons of the American Revolution for leadership. Scholarship. and Citizenship Award. This is o ly the second time in that this award has ever been made in Milford High School. Receiving the Ray Kizer Award for Citizen hip and Communty Service, presented annually to underclassmen by Milford City were Miss Wendy Williams and Wayne MeCulley. This award was prese ted by Councilwoman Whittaker. Edwards garnered many other awards including the Math Award, History, English, . and Language. (French) He also picked up the, Science award vh"ch he shared with Tom Mayer. Finally he received an award in extracurricular a:tiv-ities a:tiv-ities in Band. Lonnie Price, Lirda Jimenez, Paul Yardlep and Ranee Stoddard Stod-dard were cited for Special Service to the school. Ranee also received the award in typing. typ-ing. Others receiving awards were: Kevin Brox, band, foot-baH; foot-baH; Tcm Mayer, basketball: Paul Yardley, wrestling. Chuck Birdsong, baseball and Patti Hiatt, shorthand.
