Show i BLM SETS HEARINGS ON OFF-ROAD VEHICLE USE A public meeting to discus regulations for Off-Road Vehicle Use on public lands will be held by the Bureau of Land Management at Juab High School, Room 24 in Nephi on Wednesday, March 21st at 7:3C p.m. A similar meeting will be held in Richfield on March 23rd according to Lloyd Ferguson, Fillmore District Manager. The Cedar City District will hold a meeting at the Washington Washing-ton County Courthouse in St. George on March 21. Last mln-i ute Information revealed that a meeting would be held In Beaver on Wednesday, April 4th. Time and locaton had not been set at press time. Mr. Ferguson stated that, "Because of the high level of Interest in the proposed regulations regu-lations for off road vehicle use on public lands, the deadline for comments has been extendea to April 15, 1973. This will provide pro-vide interested parties additional addition-al opportunity to voice their comments, suggestions, or objections ob-jections to the proposal. Written Writ-ten comments can also be mailed to the director of the BLM, Washington D. C. 20240, Mr. Ferguson said. Copies of the proposed regulations regu-lations can be obtained at any office of the Bureal of Land Management and will be available avail-able at the public meetings. |
