Gary and Shirleen Bedding-field Bedding-field and family of Cedar City spent Saturday visiting Daisel and Wilma Davis. A birthday dinner was held at the home of Bessie Pearson o.n Wednesday, Feb. 23, in hon-of hon-of of Etta Rollins, it being her 78th birthday. Those attending were; Wilford and Alvaretta Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gibson have returned home after spending two weeks visiting in California. Cordell and Gloria (Craw) Finlinso.n of Caliente, Nev. have a new .baby boy. The grandparents grand-parents are Mr. and Mrs. Jack Craw of Minersville. Mrs. Patricia Curtis of Bountiful Boun-tiful visited this week with her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Vern Wood. Turkey and all the trmmings were served, followed by a program. A group of Explorer Scouts and leaders attended the Utah All Star game at the Salt Palace Pal-ace Wednesday night. Those going were: Kim Marshall, Robert Ro-bert Craw, Lyle Carter, Blake Marshall, Heber Davis, Kent Marshall, Rex Brown, Gil Limb, Dan Goff and Douglas Albrecht. Word was received by Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Wood that their son-in-law, Master Sgt. Clarence Clar-ence Pacheco, had received another stripe and promotion in the Air Force. He and his wife Jolene and family have been stationed in Okinawa for three years. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Truman have returned from a trip to Spain. They reported visiting many historical points of interest, in-terest, also going into Africa for a visit. Madge Carter is reported to be improving after being taken to the Milford Hospital with a severe nose bleed. Dohn and Mildred Martin are home again after being gone for two and a half months visiting in Arizona, Las Vegas and Northern Utah. Alta Kelsey has been released re-leased from the Milford Hospi-taol Hospi-taol and is now residing with her daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Thompson. She would be glad to see all her friends. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Wood attended the wedding Monday, Feb. 21, of their granddaughter, Debra. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. La Vor Hollingshead of Pioche and Rick Williams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Williams. The wedding was held at the Williams Dude Ranch, forty miles east of Pic-che. They were married by the Stake President Wesley Holt. Maid of Honor was Carrie Hollingshead, daughter of Mrs. Jack Hollingshead Hollings-head of Beaver. Lori Eyre attended the wedding wed-ding of Debra Hollingshead and Rick Williams Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Limb and family of Vernal spent the weekend with Kent's parents, Bishop and Mrs. Earl Limb and family. Those attending the annual hospital board meeting in Milford Mil-ford Tuesday night were Daisel and Wilma Davis, Howard and Gwen Pryor, Pam McMullin, Lelia Carter, Dorothy Wood, Ruth Dotson and Daisy Gillins. There was a large crowd of Minersville people attending the basketball tournament in St. George. Chris Marshall and his mother, mo-ther, Eleanor, made a trip to Salt Lake for medical purposes one day this week. Daisy Gillins spent Saturday afternoon and evening in Mes-quite, Mes-quite, Nev. visiting her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Easton. Lawrence is recovering from back surgery. An interesting program was given in sacrament meeting Sunday night. Talks were given by Arema Limb, Grace Marshall, Marsh-all, Lynnea Marshall, Blake Carter and Nellie Hollingshead. Ricky Williams sang a song and the choir gave three numbers. num-bers. Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Gray were in town for a short visit Saturday. Mrs. Susan George and family fam-ily of Calif, are visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Ashley. Ash-ley. A birthday dinner was held Sunday at Gladys Myers. Here to help her celebrate were her children, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Carter and family, Beaver, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Carter, Cedar Ce-dar City, Mr. and Mrs. Kent Myers and family, Cedar City, and Sally Smith and family of Las Vegas. Weekend guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Autry were Mr. and Mrs. John Mc-Knight Mc-Knight of Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Fails and family of Orem are visiting over the wekend with Mr. and Mrs. Dalton Fails. Karl Truman received word that his mother had been injured in-jured in an auto accident.
