Show BLM MUST APPROVE PUBLIC LAND SIGNS The Bureau of Land Management Man-agement has been given the responsibility to enforce the statutory regulations relative to unauthorized advertising signs located on public lands. The Fillmore District Office of the Bureau of Land Management Man-agement urges all advertising ,sign owners who have signs . located on public lands within the district to contact the district dis-trict office and request the proper authorization in order that their signs can be legalized. legal-ized. Any signs located on public lands without the proper prop-er authorization are considered to be in trespass and appropriate appropri-ate actioi. will be initiated. The Bureau's enforcement program is designed to upgrade the quality of signs on public lands to meet minimum specifications speci-fications and to eliminate undesirable, un-desirable, unkept- and unsightly unsight-ly signs along the roads and highways within the district. Also to require that proper authorization is obtained for all signs in order to eliminate a trespass condition. Further information can be obtained at the district office in Fillmore. |
