MARSHA SMITH GETS 1963 U P SCHOLARSHIP Marsha Ann Smith of Mil- ford High School is the winner of the annual Union Pacific Scholarship for Beaver County The scholarship, worth $200, may be used at any Land Grant college or university, according to Glen Baird, state 4-H Club leader. Marsha Ann, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George E. Smith of South Milforfd, has completed 4-H projects in foods, clothing, home improvements, leadership, leader-ship, and livestock. She has been a 4-H worker for seven years, and in addition to her own 4-H Club work has been an instructor and leader of younger groups. |
