Show DAVID HORTON KILLED WHEN STRUCK BY BASEBALL David Henry Horton, 9 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Horton, Hor-ton, was instantly killed at 8 p. m. Tuesday, July 26, when he was struck over the heart by a baseball. base-ball. He was playing ball with a group of friends, when the batted bat-ted ball struck him. No bones were broken, and death was attributed at-tributed to cardiac failure as the result of the force of the blow. David was born Nov. 13, 1950, in Cedar City, to Marvin R. and Lorraine Davis Horton. He had lived with his parents in Milford all his life, and was a fourth grade student at the Milford Elementary Ele-mentary School. He was a member of the PrL mary and Sunday School of the Milford LDS Church, and was a member of the Cub Scouts and a j Little League ball player. Following funeral services Friday Fri-day at 1 p. m., he was to be buried in his Cub Scout uniform. Surviving are his parents; two brothers and two sisters, John, 12; Debra, 6; Shelly, 4; and Paul, 2 months old, all of Milford; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Clin-ton Bond of Milford, Mrs. Eulalia Davis, Minersville; and Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Horton, Beaver; and a great-grandfather, P, F. Rollins of St. George. |
