Mr and Mrs. Clarence Grayson Gray-son and Janice spent the week end in McFarlane and Delano, Ci'lif., visiting friends. They also met their son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Sonny Walker, and Red macie a quick business trip to Los. Angeles. They returned to Milford Wednesday Wed-nesday evening. e Ray Rogers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sheridan Rogers, is home on 30-day leave. Hay is serving with the U S Navy, stationed at San Diego, Calif. Myron Vest will leave Friday for Salb Lake to spend the holi- days with his children, Mr. and Mrs. Cornell Vest and Mr. and Mrs. Carlyle Gronning. Last week end visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Smith were Mrs. Smith's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Bentley, and brother and sister in law, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Bentley, all of Parowan. Newlyweds Mr. and Mrs, Kay Cummings are living in one of the Al Kirk apartments on Main street. Mrs. Cummings is the f o m e r Dian Hollingshea'd, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Hollingshead of Minersville. Dave Tanner has returned to Milford after a visit in Ogden with his son in law and daughter, daugh-ter, Mr. and Mrs, L. H.Lewis. Nels C. Schow observed his 91st birth anniversary on Dec. 6th, and was feted at a family dinner that day. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cline will leave Sunday to spend the holidays holi-days with their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Gillies in Pocatello, Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Moore of Daggett, Calif., former for-mer Milford residents, were Sunday morning brunch guests of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cline. Mr. and Mrs. Donald McDowell McDow-ell and son of Redmond, Calif., are here to spend the Christmas holidays at the home o'f Don's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest McDowell. ' Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Anderson, accompanied by Mrs. David Griffiths and daughter Brenda, ' will leave Sunday for Cali fornia. Mrs. Griffiths will return re-turn to her home in Walnut . Creek after visiting in Milford ' with Mr. and Mrs. Marion Walker and Mr. and Mrs. Mont Griffiths. The Andersons will spend Christmas with their son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Anderson of Berkeley. Berke-ley. Mrs. Hattie Goodwin and Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Briggs of Beaver joined Mrs. Goodwin's daughters and Mrs. Briggs' sisters, sis-ters, Mrs. Garnetta Hollis and Mrs. LaPreal Lewis in Milford Saturday, and together they motored to Delta for a family get-together with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Goodwin and Mr. and Mrs. Newell Iverson. Mr. and Mrs. Denzel Craw and three children are in Milford. Mil-ford. Mr. Craw, stationed with the U S -Navy at San Diego, is on 30-day leave, and will report re-port for shore duty at Port Hueney, Calif., at the conclusion of his leave. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Lowe left last week end . for Southern California. Mr. Lowe returned to Milford, and Mrs. Lowe remained re-mained for a week's visit with relatives. , Mr. and Mrs. Harry Garfield are in Logan visiting their son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Neil Garfield. They expect ex-pect to return to Milford Tuesday. Tues-day. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Mayer and Mr. and Mrs. Gene Mayer will leave this week for Shafter, Calif., -where they will join other members of the family for a holiday get-together. Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn McDonald McDon-ald of Salt Lake are expected in Milford for the Christmas holidays. holi-days. They will be guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Mrs. Elizabeth Martin has returned from Salt Lake, where she visited her sister, Mrs. Lee Erickson. i Randy Morris of China Lake, Calif., will arrive in Milford next Monday for a 10-day stay with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Morris. Mrs. Amanda L'Heureux of Upland, Nebr., arrived in Mil-'ford Mil-'ford Wednesday to spend two weeks with her son in law ana daughter, Mr. and Mrs, Don Wisner. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Tribole of Bountiful and Ronnie Baharie ' a student at the B Y U, will be guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Tribole during the Christmas holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Keetch and son Max were in Pleasant Grove, Dec. 14, to be with Mrs. Keetch's mother, Mrs. Pearl Wadley, on her 82nd birth an-niversary. an-niversary. Roy Rummler, a student at the B Y U, will spend Christmas with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Rummler. Other guests - expected at the Rummler home are Mr. and Mrs. Roy Firmage, and Mrs. Rummler's mother, Mrs. Roy Firmage of Beaver, who has been in California since Thanksgiving. Mr. and Mrs. Dell Holyoak have been in Las Vegas visiting visit-ing their son Jim and family. Mrs. Martha Barton, formerly of Beaver, is now living in Milford. Mil-ford. Laura Jimerson of Salt Lake plans to spend Christmas Day with her mother, Mrs. George Jimerson. Mrs. R. E. Banks has returned to Milford after a week's visit with her son in law and daughter, daugh-ter, Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Hawkins Hawk-ins and two children in-Paco-ima, Calif. Mrs. " Leonard Hillman and baby are en route to Madrid, Spain, to join her husband, who is serving a three-year military assignment there. Dean Stoker, a member of the Marine Band at Treasure Island. Isl-and. Calif., is at home spending a 30-day leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Owen Stoker. The Owen Stokers and Mrs. Maude Stoker met Dean in Salt Lake, Mrs. Maude Stoker remained in Springville to spend the Christmas Christ-mas holidays with her granddaughter grand-daughter nad family, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jones. Bud Pullem, serving with the U S Marines at El Toro, Calif., is spending a 30-day leave al the home of his father, Byron Pullem. |
