Show Milford Coordinators Plan Phone Survey On 'United Fund' Early n January the Milford Coordinating Council will conduct con-duct a telephone survey to determine de-termine feeling of the residents toward a United Fund Campaign Cam-paign to replace the many indi-viduel indi-viduel charity drives conducted in the community each year. "The average individual does not realize how much money is collected each year by the many charity drives," a Coordinating Council spokesman said, "nor do they realize how many man-hours man-hours are devoted to ringing doorbells time after time seeking seek-ing funds for one after another charity." s &J The spokesman emphasied that the Coordinating Council is heartily in accord with the fund-raising drives and their worthiness, but they believe that Milford. as well as thousands thous-ands of other U S communities, would prefer a United Fund campaign, making collections in one visit for all participating charitable organizations. |
