Show MR. AND MRS. AUBRA CARTWRIGHT entertained the Couple Club Saturday, Nov. 2. The evening was spent playing play-ing bridge, with eight couples v attending. Prizes were won by t W. V. Bakes, Sara Bakes, Sel-don Sel-don Nowers and Vilda Smith. A dessert luncheon wag served by the hostess. MRS. VILDA ESPLIN entertained enter-tained her sewing club on Wednesday Wed-nesday of last week. Seven members ana one guest, Mrs. Lucille B. Murdock, were present pres-ent to enjoy the evening. A delicious plate luncheon was served by the hostess. ANNABEL.LE HALES entertained enter-tained her brdige club Wednesday Wednes-day evening at her home. Members Mem-bers and two guests,' Mrs. John Murdock and Anna Stark were present. Prizes were won by Kate Jo- seph, Helena McGarry, Jessie Gunn and Anna Stark. Refreshments were served at the close of the evening. THE PINOCHLE Club was entertained Friday evening -hy Mrs. Betty Oakden. Prizes were won by Barbara Rhenstrom, Shirley Beeson and Louise Les- sing. Refreshments were served' by the hostess to 11 members. Mrs. Alice Swindlehurst is recuperating in the Iron County Hospital after undergoing major ma-jor sugery last week. Week end visitors at the Walter Wal-ter Joseph home were Mr. and Mrs. Keith Joseph and three children of Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Neilson of Monroe were Friday evening visiters at the home of their brother and sister in law, Mr. and Mrs. Hyruin Lee. Gary Davis and Warren Morris Mor-ris left Thursday for Southern California, where they will seek employment. Mildred Bohn of Provo visited visit-ed her grandmother, Mrs. Lue B. Willden, last week, and also called on relatives in Minersville. Miners-ville. She returned home Saturday. Sat-urday. Mrs. Estella Thompson returned re-turned home Saturday after spending three weeks in Span ish Fork. She attended funeral-services funeral-services for her sister, Mrs Elia Blackett Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Burt re ceived word of the birth of their first great-grandson, born Oct 31 to Mr. and Mrs. Keith Burt ov Cobalt, Idaho.
