Show fBMlforb By RANEE NORTON School spirits are running high in this third week at M. H. S. We hope our recent victory vic-tory over Juab means the start of a successful season for the Tigers. The encouraging start is not without its dark side, because Ken Munk and Ronald Simp- dents to M H S this year. James Allen, a sophomore, comes to us from Payson High School. Bobby Lee Veazev, also a sophomore, and Frankie Evelyn Veazey, eighth grader, hail from Sentinel, Okla. Denny underwent an operation opera-tion on his knee, in a Salt Lake hospital, Tuesday. 0 Academic life at Milford High has been sparked by the addition addi-tion of three new teachers to the faculty. Teaching Driver Training Train-ing and Industrial Arts is Mr. Wendell Collier. He comes from Vernal, and is a graduate of the B Y U. Something different in the language department, German, is being taught this year by Mr. David Kurr, who is also a graduate grad-uate of B Y U and taught in American Fork before coming to Milford. Mrs. Shirley Hopkins, who attended the University of Colorado Colo-rado School of Commerce, is teaching Shorthand and Type II 0 We welcome three new stu- |
